===Band Information===

This is a brutal death metal band from Adelaide featuring players from other prominent local acts. Slaughter Thou was formed in 1999 by Don Taylor of [[Martire]] with Ben and Adam of [[Deluge]]. [[DEADpool]] guitarist Shane Dedrick and ex-vocalist Tony Waters plus '''Deluge''' singer Greg Pikl and Justin Wood from [[One Step Beyond]] had all joined the band by the end of 2000, giving Slaughter Thou a ferocious twin-vocal death metal assault. At times the band’s music is somewhat chaotic and the lyrics focus on World War I virtually exclusively.

After the recording of "The ANZAC Hammer" Pikl left Slaughter Thou and the band has been inactive since. Taylor has more recently involved himself in [[Tzun Tzu]].
