Band information

Gallows for Grace was a five-piece death metal band from Perth that formed in early 2006. Playing a style that blended technical brutality with some aspects of melody and grind, the band made good headway in only a short time with supports to a string of acts including Obituary, Job for a Cowboy, Darekst Hour, Psycroptic, I Killed the Prom Queen and more. Having completed a tour of Victoria, the band set about recording their EP A Process for the Destruction of Tomorrow for Skull and Bones Records and in July 2008 did a two-month national tour with Thy Art is Murder. In November, guitarist Joel Dimasi left the band and joined Anime Fire. He was replaced by Lynton Cessford from Malignant Monster in February 2009.

Gallows for Grace won the opening slot for the Perth leg of the Summer Slaughter tour in March 2009 and featured at Against the Grain before devoting the rest of the year to recording. Late in the year the band joined the Despised Icon tour. Several songs were completed for a new album and released as downloads but the band abruptly broke up in April 2011.
