The band's earliest demo featured a different line-up but by 1999 the Decayed Divinity personnel had become Vickery, Chad, Creed, Marsh and Richards and the band released a debut EP. Natalie Meisenhelter from Rok's solo band joined Decayed Divinity as replacement for Richards, who quit just before an interstate tour but her stay was brief.
