Paindivision is a straight ahead heavy metal band that was formed in late 2005 by Dungeon guitarist Stu Marshall, shortly before his former band folded. Dungeon/LORD drummer Tim Yatras was also a member briefly but later joined LORD full-time. Before their first show in December 2005, the band changed name to 20 Grams, citing a move away from heavy metal to melodic hard rock. One time Harlots member and Hair of the Dog singer Jordan Howe replaced the original vocalist and in mid-2006 20 Grams supported Black Label Society in Sydney before reverting to the name Paindivision in November, apparently due to a shift back to heavier material.

Paindivision seems to have fallen by the wayside as Marshall concentrates on Empires of Eden and a new band called Death Dealer featuring ex-Manowar guitarist Ross the Boss.
