Band Information
Pagan was a very extreme Perth black/death metal band that originally existed as a raw, garage-ish speed metal band for a short time in 1994 before parting ways. Three years later Pagan reformed around original members Griffin and Gennoe, with Louis Rando on drums. Lord Astoreth joined briefly as singer but his stay was short and Rando took on vocal duties.
A split EP release with Sacritual was planned but after that band broke up the release fell through and Pagan issued Rule or Ruin. Sacritual guitarist van Zijl then joined the fold. Bright from Militant Mass linked up with the band after Gennoe departed and yet another recording was laid down, only to again remain unreleased. Bright was replaced early in 2001 by Skot. Pagan is now no more; Rando is now a member of both The Furor and Pathogen.
