After a formative song-writing period, the band was joined by Yoannidis and one time Supremacy drummer Pinto. A three-track demo was recorded in mid-2000 and two years later work began on a full-length album. After signing to Majestic Rock Records, Crimsonfire's self-titled debut album was released in October 2005. In July 2006 the band supported Queensrÿche. During 2007 the band spent most of the year preparing songs for a second album. As of August 2008 Crimsonfire was seeking a bass player.
