The band released their debut 6-track demo in mid 2005 but shortly after parted ways due to musical differences. Since the seperation, Monkey Oath have recorded a cover of the Rolling Stones song "Satisfaction" (2006) followed by a reunuin show at the University of Western Sydney (late 2007). There has been no talk since and the band remains officially over.
