Monkey Oath are a 4-piece outfit based in Abbotsbury and are known for turning heads with vibrant tensions of nu-metal fused with solid chunks of brutally driven hardcore. They began jamming as a band during early 2004, and have since performed at venues such as Collingwood Hotel, Hard Rock Cafe, Legend Hotel among many others.

They began jamming in early 2004 and released a six-track demo in mid 2005 but shortly after parted ways due to musical differences. After the seperation, Monkey Oath recorded a cover of the Rolling Stones song "Satisfaction" in 2006, followed by a single reunion show at the University of Western Sydney in late 2007.
