Lucius Borich of [[Cog]] joined when his other band dissolved. With much of the album completed, [[Karnivool]]'s Jon Stockman was asked to record bass parts, and as his band was on hiatus due to singer Ian Kenny's commitment to '''Birds of Tokyo''', he joined F L O A T I N G M E full-time, allowing the band to begin playing live in early 2011.
