Band information
Dezakrate was a Melbourne thrash band formed in Melbourne in 1996 around Sacco and Bennetts. The debut album was rather rudimentary but had some promise and later the band matured and progressed into a genuine prospect. They toured interstate with Vanishing Point and in 2000 played at Metal for the Brain. After Sacco left the band in 2001 a second album was recorded featuring contributions from Vincent Mancusco (guitar) and Michelle Green (vocals) but only ever made available as a download from their website.
Engert is now with The Day Everything Became Nothing.
