Cross the Lips of Grace played a version of deathcore that incorporated extremely heavy and technical elements with some old school death metal, grind and blastcore influences. During 2007 the band supported '''All Shall Perish''' and released a self-titled EP through Skull and Bones Records. During 2008 the band began recording an album and toured widely interstate. After opening for '''Whitechapel''' early in the year, ''The Epilogue of Suffering'' was released in April. Following its release, the band appears to have split. Colin Cadell was then with [[The Schoenberg Automaton]] and Andrew Marsh joined [[Thy Art is Murder]] in 2011.
