Old school thrashing death metal band from the Blue Mountains west of Sydney. Grenade's first ever gig was in Adelaide mid-1999. The band played live sporadically and released a 7" EP in mid-2003. Neil and Beau were also members of Stone Wings and Ben was formerly with Dark Dominion. Grenade supported Mystic Circle in 2003.
The band has been sporadically active since, including playing some shows with Nunslaughter, before announcing a split in late 2006. Shortly after, details emerged that Nigel would continue with the band at some point. A compilation album appeared in mid-2007.
