Band Information

Formed in 2001, Shadowmill played an interesting mixture of dark alternative rock and melodic metal. The band came together around ex-Kelmans members Brauer, Hartley and Turner, with Brauer on bass at the time. Steve Kitney and Russell Glen from Amoeba joined the band and the group released the "The Macabre Theorem" EP. Hartley took over on vocals after Glen left in 2005. During 2007, Kitney also departed. Cameron Mitchell was recruited to allow the band to play live at various local band competitions and other shows during 2008 but was replaced in 2009 by Marty Kaufman. In 2010, Shadowmill released the first of what was intended to be a suite of albums, however in May 2011 the group announced it was no more.
