Band Information
Thrash metal band from Darwin whose name was inspired by the noise complaints against them from a quilters' group that neighboured their rehearsal space. The band existed initially as a three piece featuring the Gauder brothers and guitarist Scott McPherson in 1997 but a short time later split up.
At the end of 1998, McPherson and Grahame Gauder rebuilt the band with Pedro Bonnell, Ross Pridham and Luke Seib and recorded an EP. Gauder left the band in 2000 and was replaced by Peter Marciniak. McPherson then also left Quilter's Bane, leaving them in the odd position of having no original members in the line-up. A second CD was released in 2001. Bonnell was later in Maniacal and Crucible.
