Band information

Battalion was a war metal band from Wollongong formed in 2002 by former Secratain members Craig and Chris. A second guitarist Steve was a member for a short time but he was replaced by Ross in 2003. Former Malice and Black Reign drummer Tim Yatras completed the line-up.

This band played particularly brutal and violent blackened thrash metal with a lyrical focus on the ANZACs of World War I. Battalion split up in 2005 and Yatras joined Dungeon.
