Red Bee is an alterna-metal trio from the Blue Mountains, formed around 2004. The band's initial style crossed broadly metallic influences with those of the likes of '''TOOL, Helmet''' and '''Mammal''' but they have since evolved into a progressive metal band with elements of mathcore and djent. Since 2009 the band has toured extensively within NSW. Red Bee began recording a full-length album in late 2010 that will be released mid-2011.
