Band information
Be’lakor is a Melbourne melodic death metal band with an epic and dark feel. The group formed in 2004 and released their first album in early 2007. The band signed to Dutch label Descent in 2008 with plans to release the debut as a digipak but long delays from the label caused this to fall through and Be'lakor severed ties with them. The second album has been something of a breakthrough, with Be'lakor linking up with Riot! in Australia and Italian label Kolony for European release; Stone's Reach was voted Best Melodeath Release of 2009 on the European Metal Storm website.
The band supported Turisas nationally during 2010 before heading to Europe where they appeared at the Summer Breeze festival in Germany. Upon returning they went to work on a third album that was released in mid-2012.
