Some line-up changes occured after this and during 2009 the band completed the EP "Take Your Fight to the Sun" which was released in February 2010, ahead of a national tour and shows with bands like Static X and Dope. Scar the Surface opened for The Haunted in May 2011. After this the band began working on a second full-length album and Simon Backman and Adam Sinclair joined. In late 2012 they toured with the Whiplash festival throughout the east coast. Caliban's Marc Gortz was co-producer of From the Shadows to the Fire, which is due for release in 2013.
