Modern Murder was a Sydney prog band formed by Matt Ellis and Christian Lauria, who had previously played together in '''Oxygen Mary'''. Following a formative period, the group began playing live during 2011 and released the debut ''No Cadence''. Following the departure of Rami Sabhiyan, Lauria and Ellis put the band on hold and joined [[Lillyé]].
