Darker Half is a band from Sydney playing thrash metal with a dominant technical aspect. The band formed around Simpson, Max Griffiths (vocals, bass), Alderton (guitar) and Jim on drums. They quickly began playing live despite being all too young to appear in licensed venues and featured at the first [[Metalstock]] festival at Easter 2005.
