Martyrs Shrine is a Melbourne death metal band formed in 2005 by two former Mortification and Cybergrind members, Mick Carlisle and Michael Forsberg. Carlisle was Mortification's original guitarist and Forsberg played on the Braincleaner album after a stint with Ragewar in the late 1990s. An album was released in 2007 featuring vocals from Ragewar/Sunsaria member Barrie Bardoe on one track.
