Band information
An early Adelaide heavy metal group with thrash undertones, Zen Venom formed as a cover band in 1983. The group's line-up went through various shuffles until 1988, and a four-track EP titled From Another Planet was recorded and released the following year. The band dissolved in 1990, but various bootlegged re-releases of the EP exist through underground record labels.
A proper re-release of From Another Planet is reported to be undertaken by record label Heavy Melody Music with unreleased material.
