Band Information

Sobrusion is a progressive melodic metal band that was formed by Shanul Sharma of Jennifer Will Drown in mid 2005. After a formative period and several successful shows the band recorded The First Embrace during 2006. Following the album's release in December the band's status locally elevated and during 2007 Sobrusion opened for acts like Something For Kate and Thirsty Merc and also appeared on the Wagga Wagga leg of the Festival of the Dead tour. Since then the band's line-up has seen some changes with Blyton switching from guitar to bass due to Tait (also of Leicohtica) departing and Brodie Simons replacing Elliot.
