Band information

Originally from Melbourne but based for some time now in London, UK, Halo is an ambient drone-sludge-noise band whose post-music style has been compared to a meeting between Godflesh and Sunn 0))). As such, this duo’s material exists almost without structure as an unclassifiable type of almost unlistenable noise, represented on a swag of releases beginning with the self released Subliminal Transmissions in 1998. During 2006, the band toured Europe with Pig Destroyer.

Allen has a solo drone project called UN- that has released two albums.
