Band information
Taking their name from a line in Macbeth, Thy Art is Murder is a Sydney deathcore band, formed in 2006. By the end of that year the group had already completed a successful tour of Queensland and began working on an EP shortly afterward. "Infinite Death" was released on July 23 2008. The band then set off on a two month national tour with Gallows for Grace. van Ryn departed the group in October. CJ McMahon from Vegas in Ruins joined the band in April 2009 and they then went on a national tour. After this Thy Art is Murder concentrated on the completion of their album The Adversary for the rest of the year. Due for relase in July 2010, the band will support it with a two-month national tour.
