Band Information

Ne Obliviscaris is a Melbourne melodic black metal band, originally formed in 2003. The band incorporates a wide variety of musical styles, giving them a particularly progressive sound. Since first playing live in early 2006, the band was mooted for the inaugural Festival of the Dead but were pulled due to time constraints and played at Metal for the Brain instead. A demo was released in early 2007 and in March the band supported Suffocation in Melbourne.

During 2008, Presland also began playing drums for The Ocularis Infernum and Benjamin Baret replaced King in May. The band conducted a national tour in April and May 2009. They were added to the line-up of the Against the Grain Festival in early September but were forced by withdraw when French citizen Baret faced visa problems and couldn't enter the country. Ne Obliviscaris will begin recording an album in late October 2009. Benjamin Baret's visa was finally granted in October 2011.
