Band information
Dead Letter Opener is a Brisbane trio that plays a style of experimental and progressive metal featuring black metal-like vocals over expansive and uncategorisable music with similarities to the more avant garde acts in the field like Sleepytime Gorilla Museum and Behold... the Arctopus. In mid- 2008 the band opened for The Dillinger Escape Plan. Late in 2009, DLO released their debut album Lumen, which was mixed by Joachem Jacobs of Textures. Dead Letter Opener spent most of 2010 on live appearances.
