Band information
Chronolyth was originally formed in Brisbane under the name Stigmartyr featuring Hamish McSorley and Alex Nisiriou but an issue with that name brought about the current name in 2011. A single was released in late 2012 that garnered some international attention and the band supported Cradle of Filth in Brisbane the following year. Late in 2013, Chronolyth released their debut album and were announced as the local 'Unearthed' act at the Brisbane leg of the Soundwave Festival in 2014 and opened for Gloryhammer in May.
