Band information
Trilogy was a Perth progressive metal trio, formed by Ryder and Thompson of Saracen with ex-Black Alice guitarist Page when Saracen's guitarist John Meyer left to join Rose Tattoo. Like Black Alice, Trilogy was better known outside of Australia, with Europe lending a particularly keen ear to their Rush-like sound. Page left after the first album to be replaced by Peter Jenkins. Shortly after this, Meyer returned to Perth after leaving Rose Tattoo and the group recorded a second album. This album was released as Saracen's self titled album in Australia but Trilogy's French label Axe Killer issued it as a Trilogy album under the name Next in Line.
