The arrangements are choppy in the Meshuggah mould but by no means as insane as Dillinger Escape Plan. After changing vocalist in 2006, the band recorded a full-length album during 2007 and have completed two tours of New Zealand.
During November 2007 the band undertook a national tour with Picture the End before suddenly announcing it would end. The Jonestown Syndicate will play its final show on May 17, 2008.
