Band Information
Formed in Adelaide in 2003, The Jonestown Syndicate played aggressive, slightly technical deathcore. The arrangements are choppy in the Meshuggah mould but by no means as insane as Dillinger Escape Plan. After changing vocalist in 2006, the band recorded a full-length album during 2007 and completed two tours of New Zealand.
During November 2007 the band undertook a national tour with Picture the End before suddenly announcing it would end. The Jonestown Syndicate played its final show on May 17, 2008.
