Seriously bent Brisbane extreme metal element blazing a trail of coarse and twisted humour with spasms of grind, death, thrash, hardcore, punk and power metal like some bastard child of Zimmer's Hole. Abhorrent's origins are considerably earlier than Zimmer's however, enjoying a sporadic existence throughout the 1990s. After a break of some time, Abhorrent reformed in 1998 with Mungus on guitar in place of Mike Williams and issued a long-awaited debut album soon afterward. Very strange but worth examining. | |||
