Formed in 2005, This Future... Chaos played brutal deathcore with some heavy grooving breakdowns. Shortly after forming the band supported [[Parkway Drive]] at several Tasmanian shows and later in 2006 also played with [[I Killed the Prom Queen]]; however, This Future... Chaos had a heavier and more progressive approach than those bands. The band split in 2009 with Joel Hallam moving on to hardcore band Save the Clocktower.
