Taberah formed in Hobart in 2004. Their style is power metal with traditional metal influences. The band went inactive for a while when Galloway was in Sweden but on his return began working on an album. Both he and Roberts left the band in early 2009.

The band went inactive for a while when Galloway was in Sweden but on his return began working on an album. Both he and Roberts then left the band in early 2009. Walsh and Flood joined the band soon after and in September 2009 they recorded an EP live-to-tape in a theatre in the village of Deloraine.
