Band Information

Volatile was a noise/grind/death outfit from Sydney. Formed from Vomit by Kane and Frog where Kane was originally the drummer, the band went through some personnel reshuffles before Shane from Aftermath joined following the release of the first EP. The band's album Get off the Road ya Farkin' Poofta Bastard!!!! was delayed due to problems getting the album pressed as several CD plants refused it on the basis of the artwork. The band later issued the Barbecues and Gore cassette of songs left off the album and another full-length release in late 2001. Volatile appeared at Metal for the Brain in 2000 and played there again in 2001. Shane Piercy joined Bludgeoner and Volatile played its last show in February 2003.
