Band information
A Breach of Silence formed in Brisbane in 2010 with a style described as "powercore" due to the mix of power metal and metalcore influences. In 2012 the band won the Q Award in the Best Heavy Song category, a victory that landed them a deal with Eclipse in the US. During the same year the band opened for The Amity Affliction, Upon a Burning Body and Born of Osiris and late 2013 released Dead or Alive that featured Brett Anderson of Buried in Verona on one track. Soon after, Rhys Flannery joined and they began work on a second album. After that release they embarked on a US tour with Drowning Pool. In early 2016 they completed album number three and opened for Sevendust in March.
