Band Information
Trad-style metal band from Melbourne formerly known as Raid. In 2011 the band released their debut album after mastering it at the Panic Room in Sweden; it was picked up for international distribution by Massacre later in the year after local shows with the likes of Mortal Sin and Toxic Holocaust. In mid-2012 Elm Street toured throughout Europe with Warbringer, Gama Bomb, Hell and Cauldron. Writing has begun on a second album. The band headed Europe in January 2014 to tour with Iced Earth and Warbringer and released Heart Racer in 2015. After signing to German label Massacre, Elm Street released Knock 'em Out... With a Metal Fist in 2016. Anthony Longordo left before the album was released and was replaced by Nick Ivkovic.
In early 2018 Elm Street toured North America with U.D.O. and appeared at Melbourne's Legions of Steel festival mid-year. During 2019 Elm Street played the Churches of Steel festival in Adelaide, supported Loudness and released a vinyl EP before appearing at Steel Assassins in Sydney late in the year. A third album is being recorded, with the single The Last Judgement appearing in 2021.
