Band information

Western Decay are a melodic death metal group from Brisbane, with a sound borderlining on melodic metalcore. In their two years of existence the band has performed sporardically in their home town including an appearance at Overcranked, and have released a three-way Split EP with local lads Infinite Thought Process and Naked Burn. Vocalist Lochlan is a writer for punk/hardcore magazine Death Before Dishonour and a drummer for a few other Brisbane artists, while bassist Sam was previously a member of Apex Null and is currently playing guitar for Brisbane death metallers Defamer. As of 2007, the band is writing and preparing for a full-length album.
