Band information
Antonamasia is a Sydney band that formed in mid-2002. The band's style blends Shadows Fall-style metalcore with commercial Goth metal like Evanescence. While live work proved difficult at first due to Dallas' age, by late 2005 the band had become fairly well established and was picked up by Melbourne's Faultline Records, producing an EP that was released in mid-2006 and appearing at Metal for the Brain the same year.
In November 2008 it was announced that Dallas and Barrington had left the band; Carter departed in January 2009.
