Degeneracy is a Sydney grindcore band whose members are drawn from an eclectic assortment of other groups: vocalist Simon was ex-Headmess, Johnny from Hell City Glamours, Griffin the drummer with 28 Days and Pete the Punk from a hiphop crew. Their music is death-grind similar to Blood Duster meets Nasum, with depraved lyrics. One album was released with a second completed. After a long break, the band began rehearsing once more in 2011. Strelein is now also with Celebrity Morgue.
