Band information
Headlifter was an always exciting Sydney band with a basic sound similar to that of Corrosion of Conformity, but encompassing really strong hard rock, heavy metal and melodic hard core. A notoriously hard-working band, the embryonic Headlifter formed in Lismore in the early 1990s before finding a home on the northern beaches of Sydney where they were a very popular live drawcard although they were unable to develop much of a following beyond this and eventually split up.
Jason Thorncraft joined Mortal Sin briefly in 1998 and was also a member of the Unclean in 2001.
