Band information
Diatribe was a groove metal band from Adelaide that formed in 2002 with Benyk coming from Skintilla. Stylistically similar to mid-90s Sepultura at times, the band delivers solidly heavy material. Their self-titled EP from 2002 sold out of its initial pressing and was then reissued with a bonus multimedia disc included. Along with supports to several of the country's best known metal acts, in 2003 Diatribe opened for The Haunted in Adelaide. The "Product of Hate" CD emerged in 2006. Josh Smith was later in Maniacal.
