Band information
Red Bee is an tech-metal trio from the Blue Mountains, formed around 2004. The band's initial style crossed broadly metallic influences but they later evolved into a progressive technical metal band. Red Bee began recording a full-length album in late 2010 among constant gigging in and around Sydney, including an appearance at the 2011 Slaughterfest. During 2012 they embarked on a national tour with Katabasis and then played the Sydney Whiplash Festival before releasing Ictus in late October. In August 2013 they supported Flyleaf on a national tour. After an Australia-wide headlining jaunt of their own, Red Bee played at the Sydney leg of the Soundwave Festival in 2014 and in mid-2014 toured with Sydonia and Helm.
