Band Information
Maladiction was originally a reasonable thrash act that sounded like Pantera whose style gradually changed through a procession of line-ups toward a nu-metal sound. The first album was recorded with Kevin Catania on vocals and Pat DeMichele on second guitar, but released almost 18 months after Catania had left the group. His replacement Mars stayed only a short time and DeMichele followed soon afterward. Sometime after the second album was released this Maladiction’s line-up changed yet again. In 2001 they appeared at Metal for the Brain and in late 2002 supported Destruction but sometime after this the band announced it was on hold pending a replacement singer and possible name change.
