Band information

Void of Vision is a Melbourne metalcore band, formed in 2013 by Jack Bergin, James McKendrick, Mitch Fairlie, George Pfaendner and Matt Thompson. Soon after they released their first material through Bandcamp and in October 2014 had released an EP after extensive touring throughout the year with bands like Hand of Mercy and Hellions. The band's debut album Children of Chrome appeared in September 2016. Void of Vision toured Europe with Chelsea Grin in February 2017, the Disturbia EP was released in November and following a tour late in the year with Graves, Thompson left the band.

Void of Vision was included on the inaugural Good Things festival in December of 2018. The band's second album was released on September 13, 2019 and the following day they began an Australian tour with The Amity Affliction, followed by national and European touring with Northlane. A remixed version of Hyperdaze featuring contributions from Ecca Vandal and members of Thornhill was released in early March 2021. A subsequent tour with The Amity Affliction was cancelled because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The band instead concentrated on the recording of two EPs, Chronicles 1: Lust (October 2021) and Chronicles 2: Heaven (April 2022) that are the beginning on an ongoing set of releases. Late in the year they appeared at the Froth and Fury Fest in Adelaide and headlined a national tour with Diamond Construct and The Beautiful Monument.
