Abhorrent was a seriously bent Brisbane extreme metal element blazing a trail of coarse and twisted humour with spasms of grind, death, thrash, hardcore, punk and power metal. After a break of some time, Abhorrent reformed in 1998 with Mungus on guitar in place of Mike Williams and issued a long-awaited debut album soon afterward.
