''Mono'' reached #29 on the ARIA album chart and Alpha Wolf was set to open at Melbourne's Download festival in March 2018 as part of their national tour. Before the tour, however, allegations of sexual assault were levelled at Ellas and he was instantly fired from the band, which then went on hiatus for almost a year. Alpha Wolf returned in June 2018 with former '''Earthender''' vocalist Lochie Keogh and new permanent drummer Mitch Fogarty.
