Arkheth was a black metal band from Orange, NSW. The band was formed when most of the line-up of [[Eternal Dark]] split, leaving only Skolthorn and Tyraenos. Arkheth played a few live shows in 2004 including Sydney’s [[Bloodlust Festival]] but became inactive since, only to re-emerge  on the live front briefly during 2008. Since then the band has remained elusive as an occasional live entity, but the enormous ten track ''IX & I: The Quintessence of Algaresh'' double album was released in 2010.
