Band information

Corpse Carving is a goregrind death metal band from Launceston, featuring members or ex-members of other local bands including Zero Degrees Freedom, Cranial Devourment and M.S.I..

The band was formed by Pryer and vocalist Chris Quince as a two piece recording unit and with the addition of Jarrod Carter on guitar Corpse Carving released a three-way split EP with Thorwald and Decomposition. Earlier recordings then appeared on split releases with Phillipines band Human Mastication and the UK's Bludgeon and Twitch of the Death Nerve. By this time Pryer had been joined in the band by Chris Pope and vocalist Ed Kube; this line-up produced the 24-track full length CD Grotesque Goratorium: Disemboweled Gorific Feast for the Despise the Sun label.

Kube has since left the group and Tujela has joined on drums, with vocalist Brady the most recent addition.
