Band information

Demigod was a band from Wollongong in NSW with a nice line in mainstream metal and thrash. The band's self-financed debut appeared in 1998 and showed plenty of potential and generated enough interest for them to be sought out by German label Noise. A follow-up album was planned for October 2000 but in the meantime the label went through a roster purge after a takeover by Sanctuary.

A second release was not forthcoming and Demigod disappeared without trace. Damon Bishop formed Nekrofeist with Steve Giles' brother Rob.
